John's Guide 2 Music - with this blog I would like to express my appreciation for music and convey my enthusiasm especially for music which in our fast-moving times can fall into oblivion soon after its release, and unfortunately this happens far too often, as the music industry and the media are mainly concerned with the marketing and selling of new releases. This blog is in correspondence with my YouTube channel of the same name soon to be launched. John's Guide 2 Music is a place where the spotlight is on the music recordings of the last 70 years or so (that is, roughly since the long-playing record has been around), music that deserves to excite not only me and a chosen few, but that has the potential to be accepted and loved by many people who, until now, had no idea about these releases.
